Brunei-New Zealand friendship inspired by :iconmelonstyle: on her experience meeting His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei in his visit to New Zealand.

=> Sultan of Brunei arrives in NZ

The Sultan of Brunei has arrived in New Zealand for a four-day state visit.
During his visit, the Sultan will attend a dinner hosted by Prime Minister John Key, meet with Labour leader David Shearer, attend question time at Parliament, lay a wreath at the National War Memorial in Wellington and meet with Bruneian students.

Brunei is one of the world's richest countries due to its oil and gas reserves and has a population of around 400,000. His visit plans to build on the positive and friendly relationship between New Zealand and Brunei, which is underpinned by links in education, trade and defence, says Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae.

Brunei would chair the Association of South East Asian Nation (ASEAN) this year.

"ASEAN is taking an increasingly important role in New Zealand's future, in maintaining peace, stability and security critical to future prosperity within the Asia Pacific region," Sir Jerry says.

This comic series will be focusing on New Zealand and ASEAN relationships. There will be cultural introductions between countries and get to know each others.

Just sharing this Idea I hope you may reconsider.

How should Philippines talk in Informal Conversation.

"eh" - added in the END when she is answering "why" question.
example: **q:"why are you sad?" a: "because i'm hungry eh.

"ah" - added in the END for stressing, warning etc.
example: "you're bad ah" "you're improve ah"

"na" - added in the END (if there is no "ah" or "eh" or second to the last if there is "ah" or "eh") replacing Now, Already Etc.
exmple: **English: "I'm Hungry Already" "Taglish: I'm Hungry na" **English: "Now I'm Happy" Taglish: "Im Happy na."

In some unique cases like "NOW!" in English is "Now Na!" is also acceptable.

Blending: "I'm Hungry na eh." "You're Improving na ah."

Correct me if im wrong, Filipinos out there. I'm only 90% sure about this since I'm an Ilocano not Tagalog.

you're spot on, so no worries. I'm from Cavite, so the 'eh', 'na', & 'ah' is very common. though frankly, when i read the "now na!" part, it kinda reminds me of 'game knb?' really, i could just imagine ms. kris aquino saying that. (^^);

I actually forgot to add the "no?"/"noh?" which means "am I right?", "isn't it?", "isn't that right?","right?"  in English which will give Philippines a very distinct spanish trait since "no?"/"noh?" was originally Spanish expression.
example: ***English: "You're joking me, am I right?" *** Spanish-English/Tagalog-English: You're joking me, no?
Note: it is used for very informal talk in the Philippines.

Another is the "naman" which is very hard to explain if you are not a Tagalog. (sorry guys)

Useful Tagalog words:
diyos ko po! - Oh my God! ***in Spn Dios means God
naku po! - Oh no or/and this is bad
pasensya po! - Sorry or/ please have patience on me ***in Spn Pacencia means Patience "sorry po"

for upcoming Philippines and America meet up you'll need to know that.
The Stereotypical name of americans in the Philippines is "Joe" like "Wazzup! Joe?" makes Philippines call America as Kuya Joe instead of Alfred

I'll thing something to add later

Thank you so much for the information, Kimmy. :D this is most useful.

I confess I'm not familiar with speech pattern for Taglish, so this is most welcome.
