I remember... I used to play R.O. (Ragnarok Online) when I was in high school. My dream is to become an assassin. Alas, I was stuck as a novice and gave up rather quick.

Staying true to the Korean Wave phenomena, I came to love SuJu (Super Junior), my favorite is Cho Kyu-hyun.
But my first love will always be Max ChangMin from TVXQ. Why does TVXQ has to disolve.... whyyyyy....

Seriously, what's the difference between 2PM and 2AM Korean boys band?

=> Singaporeans stereotype : Being Kiasu

Kiasu (Chinese: 驚輸; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: kiaⁿ-su) is a Hokkien word that literally means 'fear of losing' (Vernacular Chinese: 怕输). However its actual usage would imply a meaning more approaching that of "dog in a manger", and yet not quite (Landon Mossburg). Examples of kiasu behaviour includes accumulating too much food on one's plate during a buffet lunch in case there is no more food later or joining a queue many days in advance just to ensure that one successfully gets hold of the limited free tickets to events, promotions and shows such as Singapore's annual National Day Parade.

In Singapore it also manifests itself in queue jumping or barging (for example going into lifts, on and off MRT trains, joining escalators or passing through doors). Certainly no thanks is given for holding open a door or waiting for another to pass. Generally this is achieved by the person barging not looking at the other person or people, and as such when the eye is caught by the person being barged results in either "sorry, lah" with a guilty look or alternatively a torrent of abuse, in particular if the person being barged is outwardly western in appearance; an "ang moh" (roughly translated as "red hair" or "red skin"). => K-Pop is very VERY popular in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. I don't know about the rest of ASEAN, are K-Pop very popular as well?

=> Super Junior (K-pop boys band)

Initially formed by SM Entertainment in 2005 as a rotational twelve member Boy Band named Super Junior '05, Super Junior is a popular Korean boy band whose number now ranges between eight and fifteen depending on who you ask.
They're notable for being the first large South Korean idol group, splitting into sub-units (and entering the Chinese popular music industry with one such sub-unit), and making forays into acting and hosting on television programs, concerts, and radio shows. All of which are now common practices in the South Korean popular music industry.
They're also well-known for the ridiculous amount of fanservice they provide their fans with (but that's nothing new), and the... enthusiasm and possessiveness of said fans.

=> Korean Wave

The Korean wave[1] (Hangul: 한류; Hanja: 韓流; RR: Hanryu; MR: Hallyu) refers to the significant increase in the popularity of South Korean entertainment and culture starting in the 1990s, in Asia, and more recently in other parts of the world. As one put it, it represents a surge in the international visibility of Korean culture.[2]

=> Ragnarok Online

Ragnarok Online is a Korean Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game established in 2001 by Gravity Co., Ltd. Originally an adaption of the manhwa Ragnarok, RO was eventually released to several countries, yet mostly stayed popular in Asia. Most Korean online Role Playing Games afterwards have had a nasty habit of almost copying the game to a T; it might have popularized the free beta idea as well, not to mention, possibly, the more-or-less standard licensing architecture foreign online game developers tend to use when setting their games up overseas. In a rather sad twist, more people play Ragnarok than World of Warcraft... if you count all the illegal, mostly free private servers. Source :[link]
