Sampek and Kutai Princess

Attention to all Borneo/Kalimantan people whether you are Indonesian, Malaysian or Bruneian.
Will it be culturally appropriate if I make a comic about the legend of "Kilip & Puteri Bulan" but with some modifications in the story?

I'm going to explain the story line and could you tell me if it's culturally inappropriate, rude, or needed extra info about Dayak/Iban culture etc. Terima kasih, (^^)/

Genre : Humor/Drama.
Story :

Once upon a time there's a Dayak Music Band group consisted of 3 members who each play a sampek :
- Kilip from Dayak Benuaq,
- Akil from Dayak Kenyah
- Rita from Sea Dayak (Iban)
(If you find the name is uncommon for the Dayak family they come from, please correct me)

The three of them dream of going making their own name for their Musical band in their country, ASEAN and world wide. Their first step toward that goal is by entering "Nusantara Got Talent" Show and winning Rp500 million and a musical contract with Nusantara musical record. However they have to compete with the Funky Papua, Batak Jaya, Barudak Sunda, Ambon Manise, Madura Selalu, Minahasa Angels and other great singers. They practice their performance everyday, wrote many songs and yet they still don't feel enough.

One night when they were practicing their sampek, they were attacked by a Rakshasa named Ruha. Ruha hates the melody of their beautiful sampek because, to the Rakshasa, it demolish his powers. They tried to call the police and woke the neighborhood but the Rakshasa put a spell on they turned deaf to whatever happened to the three of them.

Suddenly a voice command them to play their sampek and they did. The melody of the sampek hurts the Rakshasa so badly that turn his body into ashes. Then a young woman reveal herself to be the voice that commands them to play the sampek. Her name is Putri Bulan, the princess of the lost Kutai kingdom. She tells them that she had been trapped in the ruins of Kutai kingdom for a very long time, unable to leave because of the Rakshasa outside of the palace will try to catch and eat her if she dare to come out. But because of their sampek melody hurting the Rakshasa, she can finally be freed.

As gratitude she will grant the wish of the three of them if they come to the ruins of Kutai Kingdom. Automatically, the three of them wish to be able to win the "Nusantara Got Talent" and get the music contract. However, Putri Bulan suddenly vanished.

The next day when they are on the way to the Sepinggan International Airport to catch a plane to Jakarta, they were once again attacked by the Rakshasa. They tried to escape the Rakshasa and hide in the old tunnel. When they come out on the end of the tunnel, they are in front of the lost Kutai Kingdom ruins.
