Wayang Golek Antik : Old Wayang Puppet.

My attempt on doing original work.

I'm doing one-tankoubon story comic about identity conflict during colonial era.
As well as an exercise for inking and story-telling

Eduard is an Indo (Dutch Indonesian) who despise his Dutch heritage and trying to fully embrace his Indonesian heritage by adopting Indonesian name, Djalu, and trying to enter to the world of Pewayangan (Wayang Puppeter), while Ayu is a hard-working Indonesian Ambon-Sundanese who is trying to feed her family and want to be included into the high society of Dutch Totok (Pure-blood Dutch). The two of them met when Ayu is hired to work as Eduard assistant and the two of them start raveling the beauty of Wayang Golek and Indonesian cultures.

Genre : Slice of Life, Comedy, Romance.
Setting in Bandung (my hometown) 20th century, thus expect lots and lots of Indische Architectures in this comic.

There will be other characters as well. I'm trying to put other nationalities as well to put more perspective in the "identity conflict" during colonial era.
I already thought up of Elias from Philippines (Inspired by Noli me Tangere) and William from Australia, Saatje-Michiko from Japan and Siti Aisyah from Brunei.
The rest of the cast will be people from many parts in Indonesia.
